We take immense pleasure in writing this review for Shraddha Childrens Academy, Kottivakkam. We are associated with Shraddha Childrens Academy for almost 4 years. The staffs, teachers here are good and the care they give for the children is also good. The methodology they use for teaching, question papers, and the projects children do are commendable. Facilities like playground, drinking water, canteen are well maintained. They also take the children on field trip and excursions with utmost care. Integrated coaching is available with good staffs at affordable fees. Discipline is well maintained in the school.

Our twin daughters joined LKG at Shraddha Childrens’ Academy, Kottivakkam (SCA) in 2017 and are now in the 5th standard. As this is their 7th year in the school we can share many happy moments that got our attention. The school has truly become their second home (or first, maybe?). If a child is regular to school, attentive in class and does the homework / projects in a timely manner, the child will certainly flourish along with a happy and memorable childhood at SCA. Our daughters absolutely love going to school, a testament of the care and love they receive from their teachers. To add, the classrooms are of modest size and very airy, providing an excellent learning environment. The school does an excellent job of communicating thoroughly and in a timely manner through the School Canvas application, we are never in the dark wrt the happenings on campus and any events planned externally. SCA introduces the kids to reading at an early age, providing age appropriate story books from UKG. Our kids now go through 2-3 story books in a week and that reflects in their vocabulary and sentence construction. All this also brought to light their poetic abilities, which beautifully complement their passion for classical singing and dancing. The school provides ample opportunities for the kids to showcase their abilities in both internal and inter-school events. We would particularly like to highlight their prowess in teaching languages. Hailing from outside TN, we were unsure of our kids being able to grasp Tamil without any help from home; we are happy and proud to say that they can converse fluently in Tamil without having attended any external tuition classes, full credit to the teachers. They are learning foreign languages like French and German as part of the club activities during regular school hours. SCA encourages the students to participate in international testing like SpellBee and Olympiads. SCA splits Science and Social Studies into distinct subjects right from the Primary School stage, enabling a better learning and appreciation of the differences. Kids are introduced to the concepts through charts (made by students!), role playing and some realtime small experiments. Our kids are happy to be Shraddhaite and we parents are proud of enrolling them there!!!

Our journey with Shraddha started this January.The office staff welcomed us cordially and answered all our questions patiently.Right from enquiry till admission , everything went on smoothly.The Principal made sure to know about our son and made him feel welcomed. The Orientation programme with the Principal , Vice Principal and the teachers was very helpful . We are only 3 months into this class 11 and our son is already getting opportunities to represent his house and school in various competitions. All the teachers encourage the children to participate in various activities in the school. Our son is really happy to be here and so are we.

Good Morning. My daughter has been studying in Shraddha Children's academy, Kottivakkam, since her LKG and now she is in Grade 5. Shraddha focuses both on curriculum as well as the extra curricular activities equally. Right from Kg till 3rd grade teachers themselves will make the students study on their own. We parents have to support them little. If your kid is attentive in the class then he/she can score good marks and will have good knowledge too. They provide a practice of writing on their own since their little age. You just need to know the concept well to answer any question in the Unit test. According to me, If a kid is able to answer the question paper from Shraddha in a given time, then she can attempt any other paper with much confidence. Shraddha gives a lot of importance to the Olympiad, SpellBee and encourages the student to participate. From 4th grade, I noticed a great improvement in her vocabulary. This is because of the efforts which the language teachers put in and also one thing that impressed me a lot was the library activity. My kid used to borrow books from school and while returning the book the kid has to submit a synopsis of the story in their own words. This improved my kid's vocabulary a lot. She started writing on her own and it was impressive !! She even started writing poems and won a prize. By conducting exams in GK, Art and Computer Science, Childrens are learning the basics which is very much required. Also they conduct a lot of competitions in and out of the school like recitation, drawing, poem, singing, dancing, little chef cooking, Drama, other interpersonal skill showcase and what not... Coming to sports, they provide a good place for kids to develop themselves in various activities. Shraddha sports day is always one good event to watch. The attention to students by teachers is good and we get the feedback on kids performance regularly. My kid is much happier in learning here and same with me too Thank you!

My daughter has been studying at Shraddha children's academy, kottivakkam for the past 9 years. It is a friendly and warm atmosphere for children. The faculty spare no effort to make children understand their subjects. The helpers at school are very responsible and show genuine care towards children. Overall, it is a good school.
